Brian's first exposure to physical therapy was as a patient, and it was this experience that remains the foundation of his practice: ensuring the patient is the focus of the plan of care, rather than the injury or impairment.

His orthopedic skillset was developed during a 5-month clinical rotation with Duke Sports Medicine.  From there he moved to Scotland where his triage and diagnostic capabilities progressed further due to the unique, direct-access aspect of its nationalized healthcare system.  His next move took him to Oregon where he began to focus his career on geriatric physical therapy, as found working with the complexities of the conditions found in this population to be challenging and rewarding.  He and his wife have finally settled down with their two boys in beautiful New Hampshire where he has continued to pursue his professional dreams.

In his younger days, Brian was an avid rower and was a two-time captain of the Cornell Heavyweight Rowing Team.
